We hope these tools will be successful in assisting you as you help your president in every area of his/her life. Please provide suggestions and feedback about additional tools and assistance you believe would be helpful to the system. We encourage you to give your student the authority as well as the responsibility to run his/her own plan. This can be done effectively by having the student be the president of his/her own plan.
We have included a short information page of our recommendations. If other ideas or approaches have motivated your president, please share them with us. If we do not help individuals follow through, it does not matter how good the systems, tools, resources, or intentions are; individuals will not benefit if they do not follow through. Other systems we have developed have a 95% follow through rate and our goal would be the same for this.
Providing your president with a paid position gives valuable experience and extra motivation. The Life Masteries Institute has several pilot tester positions available for pay. We have a very extensive hiring process that individuals complete prior to being selected for these positions. We would recommend that your president go through this process, especially if you plan to pay him/her to be president. If you would like, he/she can complete the hiring process with LMI and then be hired by you and paid directly by you based on our recommendation. Assuming that he/she completes the selection process, his/her paycheck can be funneled through the Life Masteries Institute and directly applied to a monthly contribution from him/her to LMI if you prefer.
Note: If Life Masteries Institute is hiring and paying them as a pilot tester, he/she must follow the full work and compensation system to make it manageable. If you, the parent, would like total control or additional flexibility, we would encourage you to hire and pay him/her directly. We would still encourage you to take advantage of the LMI's hiring process so they can experience what the interview process is like.
Board Members
It is very important that every board member actively participate in the president's plan. The minimum participation is ten to fifteen minutes each month. In most situations it is recommended that several board members work with the president on a weekly basis for a few minutes.
The following are strong recommendations for participation from the board members. Each board member needs to determine what role they will play. It is recommended that each board member give a one year commitment.

Dear Board Member,
Thank you for taking your valuable time to make a difference in a student's life. It can be one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have. A number of parents, teachers, and board members have asked for additional information on how this system can be brought into their local schools or to other nonprofit organizations. Some have asked how businesses or community groups can help with time, money, or other resources.
The following informational "fliers" will provide schools (public, private, or alternative), businesses, and organizations with an overview of what the systems can do. We ask that each board member set a goal of giving twenty of these fliers away and make a commitment of giving a minimum of five away over the next thirty days.

The system is designed to assist students from ages seven to eighteen in reaching their full potential as an individual. The system will help presidents make wise choices by giving them specially designed tools and instructions to help them with relationships, school, and friends; they'll grow socially, spiritually, and economically, and they'll receive help in selecting a fulfilling career.
Overview of the program:
The system has powerful tools to walk presidents through the process of identifying: how they are doing in the most important areas of their lives; what they need to do to improve those areas; what values they need to have in their life; how those values will help them reach their dreams and goals; and how to use a yearly planning system to track their progress.
The system also includes an educational management system that students administer as if they were running their own business. This provides valuable life skills and experience which will enable presidents to more effectively compete for the best jobs and then achieve the greatest success within the career of their choosing.
We work with local, national, and world organizations, governments, and businesses to encourage sponsorship of students on the system which enables them to be paid for being presidents of their own companies.
Implementing the system:
The Life Masteries Institute will provide initial training, support, and materials to certify key individuals within schools, homes, organizations, and orphanages to fully implement the program and systems. Our goal is to create independence from the Life Masteries Institute so that we are only a resource and those with the most interest and love for the presidents are the individuals implementing the program. We also certify the presidents which creates independence, confidence, self-esteem, initiative, and provides experiences that the student will cherish their whole life.
Financial support for the system:
The Life Masteries Institute is developing a worldwide pool of contributors (individuals, businesses, organizations, and governments) to fund the full system. The Life Masteries Institute is a nonprofit corporation and one of its goals is to help individuals worldwide achieve their dreams and goals in every area of their lives.
Businesses and organizations that contribute to LMI receive great benefit as they are helping future employees, leaders, and customers achieve a better, more fulfilling life. They receive recognition for their contributions and in many instances will actively work with the presidents. Presidents gain stronger values, a hard work ethic, loyalty, a better understanding of solid business principles and they often gain first hand experience in working with the very businesses and organizations that sponsor them. Participating organizations then have first access to the best and brightest presidents -- our future work force.
Also businesses and organizations now have a vested interest in the presidents, their successes, and their lives. The Student Life Management System is designed to assist presidents in achieving their dreams by learning and applying strong values, hard work ethic, and demonstrating loyalty. Most businesses and organizations look for people who possess these things but fail to understand that by careful planning and being great stewards of their resources, they too can assist in the development of these individuals rather than being limited to only those who already possess these factors.
The system is designed to help students from seven to eighteen reach their full potential as an individual. Overview of sponsorship:
Students manage their own system and they are president of their own corporation. They select a board of directors and they may choose to solicit sponsors so they receive pay for being president of their own corporation. The student is required to complete certain accomplishments each month in order to receive compensation. The student will report at least once a month to their sponsors or to the certified coach assisting them with the program.
Benefits to businesses and organizations:

Presidents receive valuable life experiences and will tend to learn at a much faster rate than adults. This will save businesses and organizations thousands of dollars in training and management costs. Presidents can also become certified in the ActionVision business development system. By becoming certified through the Life Masteries Institute a company will save over $22,000 per certified individual.
Student's learn to take initiative as well as gain skills in sales and business development providing invaluable work experience. Presidents learn how to set and achieve goals, properly manage themselves and others, correlate positive actions to positive results, thereby, making an extremely productive employee. Since corporate sponsors have made a difference in the students' lives, they will more than likely have the first opportunity to hire and receive the benefit from these productive, profitable employees.
Implementing the system:
Companies and organizations may play an active role in the implementation of the system or may rely on the Life Masteries Institute to fully implement the program and provide regular feedback on its successes. There are certain qualifications a company or organization must meet to participate in the program.
Financial support for the system:
Businesses, organizations, individuals or nonprofit companies that qualify may participate by contributing finances, time, or resources. If a corporation wishes to sponsor a specific group of students, they may do so. If a group of students wishes to participate, the Life Masteries Institute will assist with raising the necessary funds.

It's always exciting to help presidents around the world achieve their full potential but we encourage companies to start with their own employees' children. What a great fringe benefit that costs the company nothing. The Life Masteries Institute's Life Evaluation "X-Ray" was designed to provide sufficient basic information to analyze multiple areas of one's life. This evaluation also will assist you in identifying many key areas where minimal effort can multiply and give the best results. If you are mentoring a student on the Student Life Management System, this will assist you as you help that student achieve his/her full potential.
While this evaluation is a good tool, it is not to be used as a replacement for a knowledgeable certified ActionVision consultant who can fine tune and factor in other areas which are difficult to measure by written evaluation model parameters. This tool is recommended to be used prior to starting the ActionVision life development system.
