For the Student Life Management System to work, individual users must understand that the system is their system and not their parent's, teacher's, friend's, or anyone else's. They must take full ownership of the system to receive the full benefit in their lives.

We have found that the best way for students to take ownership of the plan is to be president of it. They may select one of the following titles or make up their own title. In all the documentation from this point forward, the student will be referred to as president of his own plan or company.

Note to president:
Being president is a very exciting thing, but what you will learn very quickly is that a president often has to answer to more people than anyone else. The president of the United States has to answer to all the people that elected him. The president of a company must answer to his board members, employees, and customers. The principal of a school must answer to the school board and the parents. Being a president is exciting, but with added authority comes added responsibility. If the president of a company abuses his power and authority, then the board will fire him. Keep your board happy, and they will help you to be happy.

Note to Board Members:
It is exciting and sometimes scary to see those we love earn more responsibility. We understand that people can make many mistakes when they earn that added responsibility—mistakes that may hurt them as well as those around them. The more responsibility presidents have, the more ability they have to reach their full potential. Use your knowledge and experience to provide input and suggestions while helping the president, but allow him/her to make mistakes, too. Most boards will direct the president but will usually only force a president to do something when great harm could come from failing to do it.

Overview

Student Life Management System

The Student Life Management System is designed to help students ranging in ages from six to eighteen more effectively achieve their dreams and goals in all areas of their lives. The Student Life Management System can help students set and achieve their life dreams and goals by building better relationships with friends or family, having more fun in life, earning more money, managing finances more effectively, setting and achieving dreams and goals, understanding other students and adults, doing better in sports and other school activities, and learning how to get school work done more efficiently so they have more free time.

ActionVision

Have you ever faced challenges with being consistent with the great things in your life? Have you ever wanted a more balanced life, better relationships, or more time for yourself? The ActionVision System is helping people all over the world achieve their dreams in every aspect of their lives.

The ActionVision System is a powerful life development system that helps individuals get more done in less time. On average, individuals will accomplish 35% more work than they used to in the same amount of time within 60 days of starting the system. Over 95% of the individuals that start ActionVision will follow through in using it. It may seem too good to be true; with an investment of only 30 minutes a month, you can have the time and the ability to keep a more balanced life.

Student Life Management System

What is the system?
The system has several different tools to help students understand their own dreams and goals. It helps define specific actions that need to be taken in order to achieve those dreams and goals. The following are the five major sections within the system:

Introduction - Section One
This system is set up like a game. The student is the president of his/her own company, life, organization, school, etc. It is the president's own program--not the parents', teacher's, peer's, or anyone else's. It is a unique plan to achieve his/her own personal life dreams. Look for instructions that can allow the president to be paid to play this game.

The key to the success of this system is that the student (president) "buys in" to the plan/system; it is his or hers alone. We have found that, by adding some fun and financial incentive, the president becomes very interested and stays interested over time.

Values Development - Section Two
What are your president's goals and dreams? How does he/she think various areas of life are going (family, friends, school, etc.)? What does he/she value in life, and will these values help accomplish his/her dreams and goals? The system includes personality insights, brain quadrant usage information, and learning style analysis that will help your president understand self and others more fully.

This section is designed to help the president, along with the parents, understand the president's feelings, values, dreams, and goals. When you understand these dreams and goals, you are ready to go on to section three.

Values Transfer - Section Three
Once the president determines what his/her goals and dreams are, you will then go through a scientific process that will determine what specific values, skills, work ethics, leadership skills, and actions/results are needed on a daily basis to reach his/her full potential, dreams, and goals. Through the insight and assistance of your board members, and over a period of years, the president will build a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling life.

Over time, the president will work with the accountability team to learn and apply the values needed to achieve these dreams and goals. A president does not get to where he/she is overnight and will not change overnight. This system is not a quick fix but rather a long-term solution to help individuals get where they want to go in life gradually by applying natural life principles which consistently work over time.

Does the president love school? Does the president love homework? Does the president love learning? Whether he/she does or not, the Fun Chart will help the president understand what they need to do to be successful in school. Some presidents use this tool to help them enjoy school more; others will use the tool to learn more in the same amount of time.

Some presidents, quite frankly, use the system only to help them learn more efficiently so they can have more time for fun and other things. Whatever the reason, the system will help them more effectively achieve their dreams and goals in their own way, playing to their natural learning style, personality, and motivations.

Fun Chart - Section Four
The president is in the process of working toward his/her dreams and goals, and the Fun Chart picks it up from there. It literally brings life dreams and goals down into a daily action plan. It can also break days down even further into hours if presidents want to see how well they are doing in moving toward their goals. It will provide the president and the board with exciting information about the president's efforts and accomplishments. It identifies, with lightning-fast speed, where the president could use assistance from his/her skilled board members.

The Fun Chart system is designed to assist the president in easily tracking all areas of his/her life. It can be used for school, home, work, and sports. It provides a system for tracking where he/she is investing time and how effectively that time is being invested. It is designed to look at "micro" aspects of a president's day, week, and month, and it provides insight on most effectively assisting the president in the "smaller" areas of life.

It also provides parents and teachers with tools to effectively assist the president in reaching his/her full potential in everything the president chooses to do.

ActionVision - Section Five
The ActionVision section is designed to assist the president in determining what specific goals he/she would like to accomplish over the next twelve months, measuring those goals each month, and hand-picking a team to assist him/her in following through on dreams and goals.

This section is designed to help presidents to begin long-term planning. The basics of the ActionVision system will help the president begin planning goals and dreams and achieve them.

After a president has proven that he/she can do a great job with the Student Life Management System, he/she can advance to the ActionVision full life development system. The ActionVision system provides the president with the "big picture" of what needs to be done every month to be successful in all areas of life. Key individuals in this person's life can, at a glance, understand where the president is strong and where he/she needs assistance.

Parents/Teacher - Section Six
This section is designed to help the president's board members--parents, teachers, etc.--more fully understand themselves, their relationships with others, and how to help the president most effectively. It will provide them with insight into the president's experience with these tools, how they can help the president more effectively, and how each board member can be more effective.



ActionVision

ActionVision for adults is designed to be so powerful that the CEO of a fortune 100 company would be challenged by implementing yet so easy that a five-year-old child can and has used it. You have a great deal of influence in the president's life, and these tools and systems will help you as you assist the president to be his/her very best.

An individual completes three stages while participating in the program:

Phase 1
Complete the assessment tools that will help you to be on the same page as the president. This includes (but is not limited to) the Advanced Personality Assessment, Brain Quadrant Testing, Learning Styles Analysis, Stewardship X-Ray, and Life X-Ray.

Phase 2
Complete the ActionVision interview form, work with ActionVision certified consultant to develop twelve-month life plan, and then submit necessary information to the Life Masteries Institute for processing.

Phase 3
Receive customized plan that will assist you in achieving your dreams and goals in every part of your life. Use startup system, review monthly with a

Frequently Asked Questions

1. It seems so complicated. Is it?
Often something new will seem complicated when we first get started. This system may seem hard at first, but within sixty days it will become second nature for the president, parents, and teachers.

2. Do presidents get overwhelmed with all of it?
Occasionally, the president may feel overwhelmed but most of the time he/she will be fine with it. It is the adults that might need to be given a little more time to understand it fully. There should be no real push to use the whole system right away. Refer to the last section to identify the president's natural personality. Each personality will have its own unique challenges with the system. Often these areas of challenge will help the president overcome his/her natural weaknesses if they follow through with the system.

3. It's only $25 per quarter. What if I am unable to afford the $25?
The Life Masteries Institute (LMI) was developed to help individuals throughout the world to reach their dreams and full potential. There are many caring individuals, businesses, and organizations who have contributed financially to the Institute to help keep the costs to a minimum. There are also programs available which will cover the $25 suggested contribution if necessary. If an individual is benefiting from using the system, we do request that an additional suggested contribution of $25 or more per quarter be made to enable other presidents around the world to participate in the program. LMI is committed to finding funds to pay for each individual who desires to use the system to the extent that funds are available.

4. How much of the president's time will it take?
There are no two people alike, and the system is designed to work with any personality type, learning level, maturity level, and motivation level. In most situations, we recommend that the president take one or two hours a week for four to eight weeks in addition to the standard ten to fifteen minutes a day. Once the president gets the hang of it and keeps up with it throughout the day, it may only take them five minutes a day and then twenty minutes at the end of each week to finalize information.

5. How much of parents'/teacher's time will it take?
With younger presidents or presidents who do not read, we would recommend that you take no more than two hours per week going though it with them. If you spend more time, it could cause burnout in the teacher or president. Once the president is comfortable with the system, it should only take about five minutes a day to review his/her charts and around one hour a week to give him/her feedback and suggestions on taking the plan to the next level.

6. Do we have to use the full system?
No. We do not anticipate that anyone will use all of the tools with the full system. There are some portions that are critical, and the certified consultant will assist you in identifying specific parts that will work best for each president.

7. What is the easiest way to get started?
Using the "Quick Start" sections within each area will allow for a smooth start. It is recommended that you work with an ActionVision certified consultant as consultants are trained in this and other systems that can help you in easy and effective implementation.

8. Is the system flexible enough to meet my child's specific needs, personality, and interests?
The system has been designed to work with any personality type, any curriculum, any teaching style. It is extremely flexible and will assist the president, parent, and teacher in determining the best method of implementation for each president.

9. Can our family implement it in a different way?
Yes! Please feel free to try different ways to implement the system for each president. Some of the best uses for the system have been recommended by those who use it in a unique way. Please share your special methods with us. It is recommended that you follow specific directions to get started. Hundreds of hours of testing and development will provide insight in implementing the system most effectively. When you see specific directions on how to implement the tools, there is a reason for them, and we would encourage you to try to follow these directions to the best of your ability.

10. How is the spiritual side of an individual's life addressed within the life system?
For many people, the spiritual side of one's life is extremely important. We have tried to build the system to respect the president's spiritual side and encourage parents to work with their children in this area. It not overemphasized within the system; nor is it left out. The parents and the president need to decide how they would like to address this area of life. If an individual chooses to bypass this area, they are free to do so.

11. This is so exciting. How can I get information on additional products, services, assistance, or participation in the program?
You may call toll-free ((888)230-2300) for information on other products, services, training, or employment and volunteer opportunities. You can make a difference in other people's lives by using your time, talents, and treasures more effectively. We always value your suggestions on how we can improve, so please communicate those suggestions and ideas to us.

Much of the program is funded by businesses investing in the community and individuals who see how children's lives benefit. Part of the mission statement for the Life Masteries Institute is that every individual who would like to participate should be able to do so, regardless of his ability to contribute financially.

We would request, if possible, that individuals make the suggested contribution of $25 per quarter for the Student Life Management game and that adults make the suggested contribution of $35 per quarter for participation in the ActionVision system. If an individual is unable to do this, we would request that he give whatever he is able to, no matter how small the amount. Every penny is appreciated and valued.

Perhaps some individuals can afford to give more. For those individuals, any extra contribution would be greatly appreciated as there are a number of children around the world who can only contribute a small portion.

If you know of any companies who believe in investing back into the community, please send the company name and contact person's key information to the Life Masteries Institute so we can provide them with information about LMI. (Time, talent, equipment, resources, expertise, distribution channels, and contacts with heads of countries are resources companies and individuals can contribute to the Life Masteries Institute.) People who like to help others, retired individuals, and children can contribute by touching other people's lives.


Getting the most!

Our experience has shown us that many individuals, presidents, parents, and teachers have great intentions when they begin but have a hard time following through. Fortunately, we already have similar systems that boast of a 95% follow-through rate.

How do we get such a great follow-through rate? The systems are designed to take only a few minutes a day to complete. We make the systems so easy that small children can implement them on their own. All of our systems are based on life principles that will help individuals in all aspects of their lives. We do not recommend that anyone be forced to use the systems, and we recommend that students be presidents of their own systems and be put in charge of their plans with input from others.

With that authority comes responsibility as well. We recommend that the parents and the teachers provide input and suggestions but do not ever take over the responsibility for the plan. Our experience shows that it will become ineffective if the president is not president of his/her own plan and system.

If the parent is able, we also recommend that the child be "hired" to run the plan. That would mean they would need to go through an interview process and then be hired as president.

Some parents have had great success with compensating the president based on results. With proper incentive, the child will receive experience, responsibility, confidence, and direction. If the parent is unable to afford to do this, The Life Masteries Institute may know of some businesses who would be willing to sponsor their child in this area. In cases of outside sponsorship, presidents will need to prove their seriousness by completing all steps of the plan for several months prior to being considered.
